Who we are
This site is operated by The Pure Rx. You can reach us by telephone during posted business hours using the number shown in the site header, or in writing at the address on our contact page.
Information you give us directly
If you complete a consultation or client form we ask for the information needed to respond to you and to prepare for your appointment. Depending on the form, this can include:
- Your name, date of birth and gender
- Your email address, telephone number and postal address
- An emergency contact
- Health details you choose to share, which may include current medications, allergies, reported conditions, height, physical activity, and diet and lifestyle answers
- Your drawn signature and your initials, where a form asks you to acknowledge specific statements
- How you heard about us
You decide what to share. If you leave an optional field blank we simply will not have it. Please do not send information you do not want us to hold.
Information collected automatically
Our server records ordinary technical details when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view and the time of your visit. This site also uses cookies, browser storage and a small number of outside services. The next two sections list exactly which ones, measured on this website rather than described in general terms. You can control cookies through the consent notice and through your browser settings. Blocking cookies does not prevent you from using the site or from contacting us.
Cookies and browser storage on this site

Before you answer the consent notice, this site sets no cookies at all. It does store four values in your browser’s local storage so that our own visitor counting works: a visitor identifier, a session identifier, and two timestamps for when your session started and when it was last active. These stay in your browser and are used only to count visits and sessions.
If you choose Accept All, two cookies are set:
appwt_cookie_consent, which records the choice you made so you are not asked again. It lasts about twelve months._gcl_au, set by Google, which links an advertisement click to a later enquiry so we can tell which advertisements are worth paying for. It lasts about ninety days. A matching_gcl_lsvalue is stored in your browser at the same time.
If you choose Reject All, the advertising cookie is not set. Only the record of your choice is kept.
You can change your answer at any time by clearing this site’s cookies in your browser, which brings the consent notice back.
Other companies whose services appear on our pages
These are the outside services this website actually contacts, and why:
- Google, for advertising measurement through Google Tag Manager. This runs on every page and reports whether a visit followed one of our advertisements. Accepting the marketing category also allows Google’s advertising domains to be contacted.
- Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces the pages are set in.
- Google Translate, which powers the language selector in the corner of the page. It is contacted so the control can offer languages, and it receives page text only when you choose a language.
- OpenStreetMap, which draws the map of our locations in the page footer.
- AppWT Web and AI Solutions, our website provider, which hosts this site, serves the consent notice and runs the visitor counting described above.
Each of these companies handles the data it receives under its own privacy policy. We do not send them your name, your contact details or anything you write in a form.

We do not sell your information. We do not rent or trade it. We do not use the health details you send us to target advertising to you.
Health information
Health details you send through this site are treated as confidential and are used only to respond to you and to provide the service you requested. Access is limited to the people who need it to do that work. Signed acknowledgement images captured by our forms are stored so that they are not publicly accessible. If you would prefer not to send health details through a web form, telephone us instead and we will take your enquiry by phone.

Form submissions are delivered to our practice email and stored in our records. Email is convenient but it is not a fully secure medium. If a matter is sensitive or urgent, please telephone us rather than sending it through a form.
Keeping information secure
This site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to submitted information is restricted to authorized people. No website or email system can be guaranteed completely secure, and we will tell you promptly if we become aware of a problem that affects your information.
How long we keep it
We keep consultation records for as long as we need them to provide the service and to meet our professional and legal record keeping obligations, and then we dispose of them securely. If you would like your information removed sooner, contact us and we will tell you what we are able to delete and what we are required to retain.
Your choices
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct anything that is wrong, ask us to delete information we are not required to keep, and ask us to stop contacting you. Telephone us or write to us and we will respond.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children through this website. A parent or legal guardian should make any enquiry on behalf of a minor.
