Last year my mother was diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma. She went through standard of care at UofM doing 6 weeks of chemo and radiation. After about 6 months, she began to decline very rapidly, to the point that her doctors at UofM could no longer allow her to continue doing chemo because she was so weak and they recommended hospice multiple times. It was at this point that we felt like engaging a Natropathic doctor would be a better fit for my mom and we met with Dr. Matt Jadan. Matt met with my mom and my whole family. He listened intently to all of her issues. Having survived multiple cancers himself, he was very knowledgeable about the course of action he recommended for my mom. We immediately went through her medications and replaced 90% of her prescription meds to hollistic supplements. This helped tremendously as every prescription medication she was on caused another issue for her. Before we met with Matt, my mom was in the hospital 95% of every month and she was bed bound. She didn’t even have the strength to turn to her side or use a bed pan to relieve herself. She would only be home about 5 out of every 30 days. After meeting with Matt and following his protocol very intently, my mom has not been back to the hospital in months! In addition, she went from absolutely no strength to now being able to get up and do outpatient physical therapy and use the camode to relieve herself. Meeting with Matt has been a miracle for my family. My only regret is not engaging him sooner. He’s very honest and he truly cares about his patients. In fact, he is the most engaged doctor of all of my moms doctors. He is the one that reaches out to me constantly checking my moms status. I very rarely have to reach out to him myself. That is a very RARE quality in a healthcare provider believe me. And I’m so grateful. Matt has made a significant impact on the quality of my moms life and I’m forever grateful!
